greetings from 2015

Welcome back, boho babes. 
The drought is over, as they say... Reunited and it feels so good. 
The calendar has changed since we last saw each other; 2015 was then merely a seed in the earth, and now the first of her buds have been made visible; 
Tiny; unsure; full of potential; 
Up to each of us to determine whether that little plant will flourish or flounder.
The energy in the air each January 1st is almost electric... 
I'm not sure what it is with us humans and time, but we place much importance on that spectrum; 
and although we will continue to move forward at the same pace and linearity that we always have, there is something decidedly empowering about the perceived startings-over brought on by the beginning of a new year; 
"Maybe this will be the year that I finally  __________," etc.
The reality, though, is that it is never too late to "start over", and no day of the week/month/year is the wrong time to enlist the work of your best and most powerful self for help with your uniquely-perplexing journey. 
So don't fret if you missed that January 1st boat; you can catch the February 8th one all the same; 
Just as long as you know how capable you are, and that you don't have to waste even one second in a situation that makes you feel unhappy or unworthy. 
One's outer world is simply a reflection of their inner world; everything that we see and experience is the manifestation of our own thoughts. 
Which means:
Plant the seed of a limitless perspective today, and find a beautiful flower tomorrow. 
Or the next day. Or a month's time from now. You won't know, and that's the fun part. 
But that seed is there, and it's growing, and that is all that matters. 

Boom.

So let me tell you a few things about the new site:
I've been working very hard on it and I'm pleased with the results. 
What I am perhaps the most excited about is that you can now subscribe to Boho Genesis by entering your email address in the left sidebar, and the program FeedBurner will send my published posts to your inbox the moment they go live. So that's pretty sweet, if you're the type of person who doesn't want to check up every day to see if you missed anything, but who also doesn't want to miss anything.  
I have also added links to all of my social media accounts in case you want to connect with me in other ways. I will admit that I really only use Instagram and Facebook at the moment, but I am going to work on getting my Pinterest/Tumblr/Twitter/Linkedin active.... and you will notice that if you hover over any of the pictures on my page, you now have the option to share them directly to your Pinterest. So if you really dig a photo, feel free to Pin that ish.  
Aaaand....yeah! Thanks for stickin' with me. I've gotten some requests for new beauty/art/music posts, so stay tuned for all of that action and more.
And please don't hesitate to leave feedback-- It warms my insides and helps me get a feel for what you want to see.
