artist spotlight: James Jean

Sunday, January 6, 2013

I really did try to be selective here, but James Jean's work is simply not conducive to a conservative blog post. Alliteration aside, Jean has to be one of my favorite artists ever. His work is modern but timeless; introverted but passionate. It is my personal belief that a lot of his pieces are centered around insanity and mortality vs. nature. As absurd as this sounds, I lay awake often times contemplating these works and I really don't know what else I can say at this time other than 'you're welcome.'
