There truly isn't anything quite like being in the mountains in the summertime. 
Last summer was Colorado.. where breathtaking views encompass you 360 degrees around, the weather leaves nothing to be desired, and the most peaceful souls subsist. 
Being in a simple cabin with a pitiful internet connection in the middle of huge inexplicable structures of earth, sprinkled generously with trees that have been growing for hundreds of years... 
Something about that makes you want to put down the cell phone, break the constant stream of 21st century non-communication-communication, and just live.
This summer I will be traveling to the mountainous northwest-- the Oregon/Wyoming area specifically.
